Gaia University
Green Business Development Pathway
Gaia University was formed out of the desire of permaculture teachers and designers, ecovillage educators and new education visionary's to create a whole systems approach to today's learning. It was at a 2004 meeting at Findhorn Ecovillage that Andy Langford and Liora Adler met and began to envision a global learning community for people focused on creating ways in which humans can live more sustainably on the Earth.
Officially launched in 2006, Gaia University International, an action learning based program has active courses for 2009 in Chile, Brazil, Germany, California, Oregon and at the Gaia Southeast US regional center in Lewis County Tennessee.
Gaia SEUS launched a Green Business Development pathway in 2008 offering MSc and Graduate diplomas through Gaia University International.
The Leadership School is offering a series of workshops and courses involving sustainable business skills and practices and personal growth skills that can qualify as content and curriculum for the Green Business Development degree program.
This program, The Eco-Entrepreneur program, is unique and powerful in that it allows students to use work experience as part of the credit of the program. Are you an organized and self-directed learner? Would you like to design your own Bachelors or Masters Degree program?
There is an opportunity for you to enter this Gaia University degree program with the help and consul of Gaia Southeast US and The Leadership School.
Details of how the Gaia University International degree programs work can be found on their web site. Costs and details of registration may be found here.
